About us

With an open global space for all students and all educational institutions, the European Higher Education Monitoring Commission must control the quality of education and accreditation provided by accreditation associations.

The market for accreditation is not regulated in any way, which is why the European Higher Education Monitoring Commission has been set up to focus on the quality of accreditation and the detection of false accreditation associations providing higher education accreditation.

All false accreditation associations and associations are reported to the Ministry of Education of the respective member state, or in the case of associations from overseas or from Asia or Africa or Australia, the local authorities are contacted. The European Higher Education Monitoring Commission has an international reach and operates under the auspices of the European Union and the UN, making the European Higher Education Monitoring Commission a completely independent monitoring body that only cares about the quality of education provided to protect against false accreditation associations and incorrect education.

The European Higher Education Monitoring Commission is part of EUNEC. EUNEC is the European Network of Education Councils. Education councils provide education advice to their country's government. Through EUNEC, they exchange information on education in their country and on their views on these issues. They also want to identify common positions on the European Union's education policy.
